Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs thick-cut beef tenderloin
2 Tbs steak seasoning
2 Tbs vegetable oil
2 Tbs light brown sugar
2 tsp Sriracha sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
sliced green onions, for serving
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Rub tenderloin with steak seasoning. Heat a grill pan to high on the stove. Add the vegetable oil. When the oil begins to smoke, add the beef. Sear on all sides for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Transfer beef to a baking sheet. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer reaches 130° F for medium-rare or until desired doneness. Let rest for 15 minutes. Slice thinly, and serve with dipping sauce.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the soy sauce and brown sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat. Add the Sriracha, sesame oil and garlic powder. Chill for 30 minutes to let the flavors combine. Top with green onions before serving with the tenderloin.
